Hong Kong police have arrested a 33 year old man in connection with the potential theft of money from Birmingham International Holdings Ltd.

The man has not yet been charged and it would seem he is being detained in order to answer questions about the missing cash.

In what is going to be a long draw out process the immediate impact is more than likely still to be felt by the club. If the money is not recovered then the company face some financial problems, as confirmed by the company themselves.

As the investigation goes on it will be interesting as to how the company will move forward if there is a gap in finance. Will some money be raised from additional investment from the current parties involved, or will they turn to their assets to raise cash?

Birmingham meanwhile are still in terrific form and continue to recruit within the transfer window. Blues recruited Lloyd Dyer yesterday to bolster their attacking threat.
