There are reports today that Birmingham are now trying to bring Barcelona midfielder Alexander Hleb to St Andrews.
Hleb was supposed to be signing for Benfica but that move looks to have fallen through AS reports that an improved late offer tabled by the Blues has swayed the intentions of the Belarusian midfielder.
Barca have already said that Hleb is surplus to requirements and he spent last season on loan at Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.
