Birmingham have revealed that they will be without the services of Alexander Hleb for up to three weeks after the midfielder picked up a calf strain.

Because of the injury Hleb missed the Carling Cup victory over Aston Villa and now the manager has let it be known that the injury is more serious than first thought.

Meanwhile, Craig Gardner is back in contention for a place in the starting line up this weekend against Tottenham, he came on in midweek as a sub for Lee Bowyer.
