Ravel Morrison made a big impression when he was first on loan at St Andrew’s six years ago, and when the 25-year-old hinted on Twitter last week he would consider a return, fans were mostly enthusiastic about the prospect.

The midfielder is currently still at Serie A side Lazio, but he remains very much in limbo after being loaned out for the last two years.

A loan back to these shores cannot be ruled out so I asked fans what they would think if Morrison was re-signed on a temporary deal. The vast majority think it is a good idea:

A creative talent like the former West Ham player is badly needed, and while he has never really filled his potential, it could be a gamble worth considering.

We have one loan left this summer so Garry Monk will want to make the right decision here. He will surely look to bring in another midfielder, and with Morrison, it would very much be the wild card option.

  • It’s not worth talking about we can’t pay the fees they will want. I was looking at is last loan move and it’s believed that they got 460k up front and his wage in full he will be on more than 10k per week we would be looking at close to 1m to get it done.

  • Vital Birmingham is written by a bunch of kids scrolling through Twitter looking for stories, regurgiating them without any hint of a writing style. It’s very poor. Why I click on this site on Newsnow when it comes to Blues stories, is beyond me. Worse that BCFC Followers
