Some Blues fans have been sending messages to a departed member of the club hierarchy.
Will this be farewell, or just goodbye? Whatever happens, he just needs to do what’s best.
Over the weekend, it was announced that Blues coach Xavi Calm had decided to return to his native Spain so that he can be with his family during this troubling time, something that the club, and us here at Vital Birmingham totally support given the circumstances.
Having originally come to the club last summer as an U23s coach, a restructuring meant that he joined the first-team staff whilst helping with the link between those players in the academy and the senior team.
And when Calm took to Twitter on Sunday night to show his appreciation for the club, the fans were quick to respond with kind messages of their own as they showed their support for the Spaniard and offered their best wishes to him and his family.
Seems you really enjoyed your time at our club Xavi. Thank you for your effort and WORK. Hope you and your family are well in these testing times. #KRO
