Yesterday was three years ago to the day since inspirational Birmingham City fan Harry Moseley died from a brain tumour aged only 11. Harry who is now an inspiration to many and a legend in the city was diagnosed with the tumour in 2007 and battled his disease for four years before sadly passing away in 2011.

If you are at St. Andrews on a match day you will see many fans wearing the ‘Help Harry Help Others` bracelets, and it is wonderful that the boy that did so much for his city is now still raising money and awareness for his illness even when he is gone. The inspirational former schoolboy from Sheldon has raised over two millions pounds for Cancer Research UK, with the hand-made bracelets worn by former Blues players such as Nathan Redmond and Jack Butland has raised over £500,000 since the heroic schoolboy sadly lost his battle with cancer.

‘Help Harry Help Others` has a shop in Yardley, which is only three miles away from St. Andrews and it would be amazing for fans to keep on donating to the charity to make sure Harry`s cause carries on. For the last two seasons the Blues ground has hosted a charity football game at the end of the season in aid of Harry and his mother, Georgia Moseley. These games in 2013 and 2014 have raised nearly £250,000 and it is wonderful to see that there are so many kind hearted people in the area that turn up to help such an inspirational boy achieve his dreams that he had when he was alive.

At the age of 9 Harry was given the title of ‘Britain`s kindest child` and over the years he has gained the love of many celebrity supporters including Jeremy Kyle, Ben Shepherd and Gary Lineker who all wear his bracelets with pride. Birmingham City continue to support Harry Moseley and his charity with bucket collections and bracelets sold in the club shop.

Harry, who would have turned 15, is having another charity ball in 2015 it has recently been announced. The event taking place at the ICC on the 20th February is set to sell out in record breaking time and tickets can be purchased on www.hhho.org.uk.

For a boy that has influenced and helped so many children and adults reach their dreams it is a fitting tribute that so many Birmingham City fans still remember the passing of special boy and through wearing his bracelets it helps the legacy that Harry left behind with him live on. As the Blues motto says ‘Keep Right On To The End Of The Road` and that is exactly what the Moseley family are doing supporting this amazing cause.
