Birmingham manager Lee Clark has revealed that striker Matt Green won`t be returning to action for at least another month.
Green has been sidelined since last November after a damaging knee ligament injury. The former Mansfield Town man had scored just two goals in his first 12 games for Birmingham.
Lee Clark revealed that Matt Green is running again but they won`t be rushing him back to first team training. With numbers being further reduced upfront Clark will be eager to ensure that Green doesn`t need any more time on the sidelines.
Green has played for many clubs, now 27; the player had finally hit some career form at Mansfield scoring 29 and then 25 league goals respectively in an otherwise unimpressive career. The striker will be hoping to refind his form as soon as he finds his fitness.
