Birmingham City are flying high and entered the international break in fine form after just one defeat in their last 13 Championship matches.
That run has seen the Blues fly up the standings and Garry Monk’s side are now within touching distance of the promotion chase, which is shaping up to be extremely tight with a number of teams already in the running.
Che Adams stole the headlines after Birmingham’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Hull City last week, where the forward struck a hat-trick to take his tally for the season to eight league goals – providing a confidence boost ahead of next week’s derby with Aston Villa.
