Gordon Deal Done?

There are reports this afternoon that say young Chelsea defender Ben Gordon has agreed a move to Birmingham.


The 21 year old comes to St Andrews for an initial six month loan spell and the situation will come under review in January.


The youngster is said to be one of the big hopes that Chelsea have for the future, but Roberto Di Matteo feels that going out on loan is the best way for him to get match practice as they have enough cover for right back at the moment.


But Gordon is no stranger to going out on loan, he has already had spells with Kilmarnock north of the border and Peterborough, Scunthorpe and Tranmere in the English leagues.


Manager Lee Clark`s list of signings now grows to four having already landed Peter Lovenkrands, Hayden Mullins and David Lucas.


So far there has been no confirmation of this from the club.
