Stephen Gleeson admitted Birmingham were not at the races as they took on one of the Championships top sides this afternoon.
Derby ran out 4-0 winners in the game and Gleeson branded them the best team Birmingham have played against this season.
The midfielder explained that the game wasn’t a 4-0 game and that sometimes that is going to happen in football. He was thankful that there haven’t been many scorelines like this in the Rowett Revolution.
Looking ahead Gleeson urged Birmingham to get back on track when they travel away to Nottingham but admits it will be tough playing again in just two days.
