Whilst the first team might be struggling to get their hands on three points, there are no such problems for the U23s.
Two goals apiece from Miguel Fernandez and Adan George saw the Blues take a comfortable 4 – 0 victory away from home against Wigan Athletic.
Whilst the biggest story might normally have been the inclusion of Josh McEachran, who is obviously still looking for match fitness after his move last week, there were a number of other talking points coming out of the game from the fans.
There were some who were pleased with the performance and how it’s more fun and enjoyable than watching the first team.
Same result tomorrow please ????

Whereas there were others who were more impressed by the players on show, one fan even wanted some of them to make the jump into the first team as early as tonight.
Give this lad a chance in first team! #bcfc

It’s probably a little too early to start talking about that, but given that Clotet has previously spoken about the importance of youth and how he looks to bring more players in the near future, it’s not out of the realms of possibility that we could see them pulling on the kit for the first team sometime soon.
