Give Jack the nod

With nothing coming to fruition in Blues’ chase for a striker, it’s time to look within our own ranks.

Jack Storer, an 18 year-old Brummie and Bluenose, has been the brightest light of a pretty bog standard pre-season. He tells today’s Birmingham Mail that he feels ready to play Championship football.

Gary Rowett highly rates Storer. After brining him back to the club from Stevenage, his progress has been rapid.

Storer appears to be a natural striker with ability to put away his chances. He also has an almighty work rate which is the attribute most admired by the faithful at St Andrews.

It’s time to give Jack the chance.
