The club’s official Twitter account released a clip from an upcoming Blues TV feature profiling Isaac Vassell’s rehab as he makes his way back from a long-term knee injury.
Our no.11 has had a long road back, but he is now close to full fitness as he prepares for his second season at St Andrews:

Perhaps he’ll actually score a few more goals this time. No use having pace if you can’t put the ball in the net

Verdict:
Isaac’s injury in the derby back in October was a huge disappointment as he was showing some real signs of promise that he could be a threat for us up front.
It will be interesting to see how prominent a role he has under the manager when next season comes around.
Lukas Jutkiewicz and Che Adams are currently our only other options in attack, but it looks like that we’ll recruit another striker before the summer is out.
