I’m not sure this is quite the nicest message that you could send to him, unless of course it was aimed entirely at the manager. Either way, it’s probably not the ideal response in the grand scheme of things.
Yesterday was Cheick Keita’s birthday as he turned 24 years old. The defender first signed for the Blues back in 2017 and has found time quite hard to come by at St Andrew’s, amassing only 11 appearances for the club so far.
Even two loan spells away from the club to help his development haven’t been able to give him a boost in stature as Kristian Pedersen has managed to lock down that left-back spot down.
Should Keita be given more playing time?
Yes
No
So when the club wished him a happy birthday, there were only two responses that the fans wanted to give; Who on earth is he? And why isn’t he playing more?
WHOOOO Who are yer Who are yer happy birthday 💙💙💙👍

Once did a fancy drag-back on the halfway line in a home defeat to Leeds.
