Birmingham City defender Franck Queudrue has joined Colchester United on loan until the end of the season.
The highly experienced 31 year old has not found it easy to get into Birmingham`s starting eleven since they gained promotion to the Premier League although he did do his fair share to get them out of the Championship.
‘There were other clubs interested, but they were mid-table sides and I was pleased to join a promotion push,’ he told Sky Sports.
‘I spent eight years in the Premiership and one in the Championship and I know this will be a physical league.
‘But I am looking forward to playing football and helping Colchester in their promotion push.’
