Leicester City defender Wes Morgan believes that Leicester have what it takes to see off Birmingham and get back on the promotion trail on Friday night.
The two sides meet at the King Power Stadium with Blues looking a lot better than earlier in the season while the Foxes have been slipping from the top of the table gradually until they landed where they are now, just outside the play-off places.
Captain Morgan and the rest of his team mate were boosted last time out when they managed a draw with promotion rivals Brighton and that was seen as a good achievement by the club.
Now Morgan wants to go one better than the point they earned at the AMEX Stadium by beating Blues and adding three points to their tally so far for the season.
He told Leicester’s official website: “It was a much better performance against Brighton; we showed that we`re improving in confidence and we were unlucky not to come away with three points.
“Obviously it`s disappointing to concede when we were so desperate to get the win, but we have to take the positives from that game and obviously put that into the Birmingham game.
“We have to stay positive at all times as there`s still a good few games left and we`ve a good chance of getting into the play-offs so we have to stay confident and take the positives out of the Brighton game. We`re still confident we can go on and get more points before the end of the season.’
