Forest Over Dip in Form

Birmingham play Nottingham Forest next at home and the visitors seem to be rebuilding their earlier strong form just in time.

Forest had suffered a dip in form but after wins over both Norwich and Wolves they seem to be more than ready for their trip to St Andrews.

Leading goal scorer Assombalonga will present Blues with a defensive headache as they will have to stop the deadly forward after he picked up his 11th of the season against Wolves.

Birmingham are a tough ask for any team, though. Just ask Watford who came to St Andrews expecting to get 3 points. They not only went away beaten but well beaten.

Rotherham have also fallen by the sword after aiming to beat Blues on home soil when their manager had played down Rowett’s changes at the club.

One thing is for sure, the next game will be the biggest task yet. As will each game after that, with a win grows expectation and even with a loss comes the need to bounce back and stick to Rowett’s new tough to beat philosophy.

Blues are unbeaten ahead of this weekends game against Nottingham Forest as the reds seek to navigate their way through a tricky away fixture.
