Vital Blues Co-Editor, Rob Wildey, caught up with Nottingham Forest season ticket holder, Lee Adams, ahead of Blues’ trip to the City Ground on Friday evening.

FIRSTLY, LET`S START WITH SOME COMMON GROUND…OWNERSHIP. TELL US YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE FOREST OWNER, FAWAZ AL-HASAWI?

Well if I said what I really think, you wouldn’t be able to publish it! It has just been a disastrous tenure with him at the helm.

WHERE HAS IT ALL GONE WRONG FOR THE OWNER?

Team meddling, constant change of managers, no stability, the George Boyd fiasco, no health and safety certificates meaning a reduction in capacity, late payments of things, selling star assets year after year and not properly replacing them, threatening legal action against supporters, failed sponsorship deals, CEO’s joining and leaving within a short amount of time, signing his own players – and a decline in position every year since hes been in charge. Need I go on? Ah the glory days of being just outside the play offs with Sean O’Driscoll in charge on Boxing Day after we had just beat Leeds 4-2 (he subsequently got sacked!?!)

HAS PHILIPPE MONTANIER GOT THE BACKING OF THE FANS?

I think overall he has – as its still early days, although the constant tinkering and failure to keep clean sheets (we haven’t done so yet this season) is a big worry.

HOW HAS FOREST`S SEASON GONE SO FAR?

We started off OK with a promising four goal start against Burton and Wigan – although even then weren’t getting carried away as with all due respect, if you concede four against these kind of teams it makes you wonder how we would fare against the top teams in our division. We have only won three games in the league so far which shows it hasn’t been the greatest of starts.

WHAT WOULD REPRESENT A GOOD SEASON FOR FOREST?

On paper we have a decent squad but it’s what you on the pitch. With all the stuff going on behind the scenes, with added injuries and an unsettled side, a top ten finish would be decent. I feel we are in for a struggle though .

WHICH FOREST PLAYER SHOULD BLUES BE THE MOST WARY OF?

The obvious one would be to say Britt Assombalonga but his injuries are a major worry and he may not even play. Recently, Apostolos Vellios has been on a goal scoring streak and has proven he can be a threat (as you saw against Villa, I bet you all cheered that one).

IF YOU COULD SIGN ONE CURRENT BIRMINGHAM CITY PLAYER FOR FOREST, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Clayton Donaldson – so he can get opposition players sent off instead of our own!

WHAT IS YOUR PREDICTION FOR THE MATCH?

I think it’s going to follow a similar pattern of recent weeks – especially with Philippe being banned from the touchlines for two games. So I think we will take the lead only to squander it and lose 2-1.
