Rob Wildey caught up with Ryan Ingham, Editor-in-chief of We All Love Leeds, ahead of their trip to St. Andrews tomorrow.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION OF GARRY MONK?

Garry has come in and gave the club a feel I haven’t experienced since we were chasing the dream in the Champions League.

He’s a good young manager and the best way to compare him would be a franchise quarterback in the NFL. You can build around the knowledge that you’ve got a leader than can take you the places you want to be.

My only issue is his stubbornness not to change his systems or employ a different plan during a game. We have no plan B and I’m unsure whether that’s lack of options or a lack of will to change his game plan.

DO LEEDS HAVE ANY CHANCE OF CATCHING UP WITH NEWCASTLE AND BRIGHTON, OR HAVE YOU SETTLED FOR A PLAY OFF PLACE?

Cat in hells chance if I’m truly honest. We’ve played both Brighton and Newcastle this season and they were leagues ahead of us. I’d love to say we have a small chance but 10 points between automatic and our next run of fixtures is just too big of an ask.

Wouldn’t complain if it haponened though. Leeds fans don’t like the playoffs, for obvious reasons.

HOW DO THE FANS FEEL ABOUT MASSIMO CELLINO NOWADAYS?

Indifferent is a word I’d probably use. Between the constant dodgy court cases and the p****** contests between fan groups it’s all been blown out of proportion.

Our site has stayed clear as much as possible, you can never tell what’s true and what’s not at Leeds so sometimes it’s best to stay clear.

I’ve met the guy, he’s actually really down to earth and will do anything for fans. You can tell he has a genuine soft spot for Leeds and it sort of makes me a little sorry for the stuff he’s been brandished. Compared to Bates and GFH he’s a pussycat. Since he’s took a back burner I’ve had no qualms about the guy, hopefully he works well with Radrizzani.

WHICH LEEDS PLAYER SHOULD BIRMINGHAM BE WARY OF AND WHY?

It’s going to be an obligatory vote for Chris Wood at first. The Kiwi doesn’t even need a proper chance to score a goal at the moment and his form this season is incredible. He’s become the talisman that was promised and you just can’t beat a striker with bags of goals.

Special mention to the full backs in Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi. Both love to bomb forward and support our wingers and have been pivotal to us this season.

IF YOU COULD SIGN ONE BIRMIMGHAM PLAYER FOR THE LEEDS SQUAD, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Before he left in such a strange manor I’d have said David Cotterill, big fan of the midfielder and I was surprised that you let him go on the cheap.

Now I’d say Che Adams. I was gutted that Leeds didn’t have a go on the winger/forward last summer. I was really impressed with his ability at Sheffield United and I think you’ve got a real star in the making in him.

WHAT IS YOUR PREDICTION FOR THE GAME?

I think Leeds will show some grit and pull a win out on Friday. It’ll be 2-1 and a very tight fixture, wouldn’t surprise me if Hernandez was on the score sheet again after his last two impressive performances.
