Blues attacker Diego Fabbrini is reportedly nearing a move back to his native Italy where a deal to join Serie B side Spezia Calcio has been lined up.
He is currently in talks with the club after being left out of Blues’ game at Blackburn on the weekend.
The Italian has struggled in his second spell at Blues and has made just nine league starts since joining from Watford for £1.5m last January.
It now seems that Blues are ready to cut their losses on the 26-year-old and put an end to Fabbrini`s disappointing time at St Andrews.
