Watford have made former Blues loanee Lloyd Dyer available for transfer, according to today’s The Sun.

The newly promoted Hornet`s have bolstered their ranks with nine summer signings and opened the door for Dyer, amongst others, to leave Vicarage Road.

Earlier in the summer, Blues manager Gary Rowett spoke of his determination to land the 32 year-old Birmingham-born winger on a permanent basis. However, for a number of reasons, that move didn`t materialise.

If Watford are to allow Dyer to speak to club`s with the view to a free transfer, Rowett may rekindle his interest.

So far this summer, Blues have signed Alex Jones, Jacques Maghoma, Adam Legzdins, Tomasz Kusczcak, Miakel Kieftenbeld and Jon Toral but Rowett is still after further additions after letting several players move on to pastures new.

During his loan spell at St. Andrew`s, Dyer made 19 appearances scoring once in the final home game of the season against Charlton Athletic.
