A new home kit has been doing the rounds on Twitter. @WeareBirmingham claim that the below image is going to be the official shirt for next season.
Thia photoshopped version of the Adidas made jersey is what they believe to be close to the final design:
Remember that vote we did about the kits? We can now reveal that the 36% majority of voters who voted for kit B will be very happy, as this is the #bcfc home kit for the 2018/19 season! (sponsor still TBC) pic.twitter.com/D3xycoYjBE

Fans on Twitter had a mixed reaction to the kit, with many questioning the white at the top of the shirt:
Not too different from the league cup winning shirt!

Tbh it looks horrendous here… But in the flesh it might actually be a nice shirt

Really hoping that this isn’t true. The Regista is literally their worst design from last year. (Named Regista 18 but released last year). @wayne_cowen #bcfc

let's hope this isn't our new kit. it's awful.

Verdict:
It doesn’t seem to be particularly inspiring, to be honest. It looks like it will be another cut and paste design from the German manufacturer. Hopefully, if we do stay with Adidas beyond 2020, they may consider giving us a more bespoke look.
Whether the above image resembles the actual, official home shirt, we will have to wait and see. It won’t be long before we will find out though with the release of the 2018/19 jersey likely to be announced at the beginning of July ahead of pre-season.
