Clayton Donaldson found his goalscoring touch against league leaders Watford in yesterday’s huge win.

The striker bagged two goals as Blues left it late to bring Watford crashing down to Earth in the second city.

‘The atmosphere when we came out, 20,000 and you could feel it when you walked onto the pitch.”

“What a night to do it, three points and a couple of goals for myself, in front of a good crowd and they was behind us all the way.” he later added.

“It acts like an extra man, as soon as you run out and hear the roar of the crowd, there`s no better feeling.”

Blues have picked up four points in two games after Gary Rowett has got things going again for Birmingham. Some solid foundations and confident football were on display yesterday as Blues passed it out and competed for everything.

Birmingham were the better side last night and will now go into this weekend’s fixture with a lot of confidence that they can pick up more points and get out of the relegation zone.
