OK, I’ll admit it, I’m disappointed too.
Birmingham City have failed in their attempts to sign Inter striker George Puscas, the Romanian has instead decided to move to Reading on a five-year-deal.
Let’s just hope that Pep Clotet and the Birmingham board had a Plan B up their sleeve and aren’t frantically panicking over where to look next. With so little time left in the transfer window, you don’t want to be buying someone in a panic without doing proper research on them.
So, how did the move go down on social media? Well, it was never going to be a Mardi Gras kind of reaction but a lot of Blues fans decided to remain somewhat upbeat about the whole thing.
Enjoy playing with the likes of charlie adam puscas lol #bcfc

Puscas obviously is a bit worried he may not live up to expectations at Birmingham so chooses a much smaller club #BCFC

I think the Reading fans are misunderstanding something, so I’ll put it in simple terms. Yes we would have like Puscas, but we did not want our club to spend £9m on him, so are now not that bothered. So stop making it a thing ???? #BCFC #readingfc

So many other better players to gain rather than a £9million player who doesn’t want to be here. On to the next…. #KRO

And if you were wondering when the Blues will take on Reading, just in case you wanted to practice your booing because he turned down a move to B9, 7th of December and 7th of March are the dates for your diaries.
