‘Didn’t make sense really: These Birmingham fans react as much desired striker turns down move

|

OK, I’ll admit it, I’m disappointed too.

Not only did I think this was going to happen, but I thought this was going to be one of those moves like Ivan Sunjic that could really get the club going places. Alas, it just wasn’t to be.

Birmingham City have failed in their attempts to sign Inter striker George Puscas, the Romanian has instead decided to move to Reading on a five-year-deal.

Let’s just hope that Pep Clotet and the Birmingham board had a Plan B up their sleeve and aren’t frantically panicking over where to look next. With so little time left in the transfer window, you don’t want to be buying someone in a panic without doing proper research on them.

So, how did the move go down on social media? Well, it was never going to be a Mardi Gras kind of reaction but a lot of Blues fans decided to remain somewhat upbeat about the whole thing.

And if you were wondering when the Blues will take on Reading, just in case you wanted to practice your booing because he turned down a move to B9, 7th of December and 7th of March are the dates for your diaries.
