Harlee Dean has revealed that although his team did well to get a point against 11 man Birmingham, his team were disappointed they didn`t take all three.

Brentford produced a good second half display to force a point after Tony Craig was sent off after 15 minutes. Paul Caddis scored from the resulting penalty as it all looked to be falling into place for the visitors.

Dean told Brentfordfc.co.uk

“We could have won the game but we got a point having played with ten men for a lot of the game,

We will look at the chances we had and gain confidence from it. Birmingham were in the Premier League Recently. It`s definitely a positive.”

Harlee Dean, 23, signed for Brentford after an initial loan spell with them from Southampton. He has made 97 starts in the league for them already but currently finds himself occupying a spot on the bench.

Brentford now gear up for a home tie with Fulham in the Capital One Cup second round on Tuesday. With a decent start to the season for them and Fulham currently having a nightmare at this level the Bees may be in for a good week before meeting Rotherham this weekend.
