According to HITC Sport, Birmingham City have agreed a deal with Premier League side Burnley for their striker Lukas Jutkiewicz.

The 27-year-old striker has fallen some way down the pecking order at Turf Moor with the likes of Sam Vokes, Ashley Barnes and Andre Gray ahead of him and he now looks set for a move away from the Clarets.

Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett has been in the market for a striker for some time now and it looks as though he may have found his man according to the online sports site.

The former Bolton Wanderers loanee has made three appearances for Sean Dyche’s men this season but with the top flight side having recently added Chelsea forward Patrick Bamford to their ranks, Jutkiewicz could certainly be on his way to St.Andrews.

It looks as though there is a deal in place to bring the striker in on a season-long loan which may have the view of making his stay with Blues permanent as his contract expires in June 2017, the end of this current Championship campaign.
