Deadline Day: Blues make stunning approach for Arsenal man

Birmingham City are making an ambitious attempt to sign Jack Wilshere on loan from Arsenal, Sky Sports are reporting.

The 25-year-old is attempting to get his career back on track following a number of injury setbacks.

He spent last season on loan at Bournemouth where he made 27 appearances for Eddie Howe’s side.

Wilshere has been capped 34 times by England and was regarded in the early days of his career as the next big thing.
