Birmingham City have failed in a bid to sign Lorient right-back Steven Moreira, according to French newspaper Ouest-France.
Harry Redknapp was keen to bring in the 23-year-old, but Lorient don’t want to sell.
Blues have now moved onto Brentford right-back Maxime Colin, for whom they have reportedly had a £2m bid accepted.
