David Davis has insisted that he only has three points on his mind come this Saturday should he be selected to play against Wolves.

The Blues newboy will be returning to his former club for the first time. In what may be an emotional return, Davis admits it will be weird for him being in the visitor’s dressing room.

The Smethwick born midfielder signed for Wolves as a scholar and worked his way up into the first team, making 61 appearances for Wolves.

It will be a tough game against an exciting Wolves team, back by passionate support by both fans. A game such as this will be where Davis will need to make his mark in order for Blues to succeed.

David Davis now finds himself further south and playing for Birmingham City and there will be no time for nostalgia as his team find themselves at crisis point.

Birmingham do have a new manager in Gary Rowett but they are yet to shake off the shackles of the 8-0 embarrassment of last weekend.
