David Davis is delighted to have someone of David Cotterill’s class in the team. The midfielder produced another moment of brilliance to sweep Birmingham to another league win.
Cotterill produced a swerving freekick to see Birmingham through to a very tough away with at Huddersfield. Even with their backs up against it at times, Cotterill still produced a moment of class to win it.

“When you have got someone like Cotts in your team, he can produce moments like that.
“If you want to get up the table you need people like that in your team, individuals who can make that bit of difference.”
Cotterill is proving a key player for Birmingham, whether that be by producing something himself or worrying the opposition so someone else can find some space.
Credit where credit is due, well done to Lee Clark from bringing such a quality player in on the budget that he was working on.
