With each passing game Dan Burn seems to becoming more and more comfortable in that first team line-up.

The former ASDA employee would be forgiven for thinking he would never see footballs professional leagues, but the 6ft7 21 year old certainly won’t be looking back now.

Burn credits a lot of his new found strength at centre back down to his loan at Yeovil last year where he managed to put on some weight and make himself a presence at the back.

Dan Burn is doing what few Premier League players do this year, and that is come right the way through the leagues. With Darlington he played in the Bet Square Premier and League 2 before securing his move to Fulham and being loaned to Yeovil in League 1.

Now he is playing in the Championship with Blues and making a terrific go of it.

The Birmingham Mail spoke to Burn and he emphasised his desire to move on up and take his chances ‘It`s everyone`s aim to play in the Premier League and I want to keep progressing.’
