Curtis Davies Back In The Squad

Curtis Davies is back in the squad for the game at home to Blackpool on New Year`s Eve.

The defender had to sit out the 1-1 draw with West Ham on Boxing Day while he served a one game ban.

Davies should take the place of Pablo Ibanez at the heart of defence alongside Steven Caldwell, while manager Chris Hughton also has the option of fit-again defender Liam Ridgewell, who returned to the bench against the Hammers after seven weeks out with a thigh injury.

Chile international winger Jean Beausejour was deemed fit for the Boxing Day game with West Ham, he is also still good to go.
