Lots of Blues fans have been reacting to the generous act of the squad in light of the Coronavirus situation.
As reported in The Telegraph, the Blues are the first of hopefully many clubs across the footballing world that are set to take a series of pay cuts in order to help the club get through the next few months whilst the clubs struggle for income with there being no football for the foreseeable future.
Club captain Harlee Dean went on TalkSPORT to talk about the decision, saying that it was a decision that each player had to make on their own rather than as a group, but that he wants to do it because he felt it was his responsibility to do so.
And with that news, Blues fans rushed to Twitter to show their gratitude to the players at the club, and in particular captain Dean for fronting up and talking about the issue.
Have their full salary as their promotion pay rise. Well played @XuandongRen

In all seriousness. Hats off to the boys and the club. Taking the relevant steps to be sustained for short to medium term. Leading by example for once. #bcfc https://t.co/aK4csysO4A

I suppose the next thing to say is, over to you other clubs, letโs see if you can match the generosity of the Blues.
