Coventry City have turned down a £2 million bid for striker Gary McSheffrey.

Learning from last season’s mistakes, Bruce is adamant he is to bolster our squad, especially on the goalscoring front to create both competition and options.

Acting Chairman Geoffrey Robinson said:

‘Gary McSheffrey is not for sale, he is central to our plans and a key element in ‘Operation Premiership’.’

PMSL! Operation Premiership, gotta love it!

Labour MP Robinson who has helped preside over an extremely funny period in Cov’s life – well for us anyway, is referring to Coventry’s 3 year plan to get back into top flight football apparently.

Either way I’m still laughing.
