Steve Seddon has joined League Two side Stevenage on loan for the next six months, the club have confirmed.
The 20-year-old left-back was on the bench for the club’s 2-0 defeat to Reading in the Carabao Cup earlier this month but he has yet to make his debut at senior level for the Blues.
He has likely joined the Hertfordshire club in the hope of gaining some much needed first-team experience.
It does mean though that we are lacking a natural sided left back. With Cheick Keita out on loan at Belgian club Eupen, it means that Maxime Colin will likely have to be cover if Kristian Pedersen gets injured, allowing Wes Harding to play on the right.
Josh Cogley also played on the left side against Reading, but he is also naturally right-footed. Seddon should get more game time at Stevenage and hopefully, he becomes a regular first-team player between now and January.
