Birmingham City supporters are losing patience with manager Lee Clark, well at least the ones on twitter may well have.

Following yesterday’s home defeat to Fulham large numbers of Birmingham supporters took to twitter to vent their frustration.

It grew to the point where a UK trend was ‘#clarkout’. A trend is something that is noted and displayed by the site when enough of the users in one area use the same tag for their tweet.

So a lot of people were calling for the manager to leave, or be sacked after yesterday’s game. We on the site aren’t ones for exacerbating negativity but there comes a time when it would be wrong to ignore the story.

We got involved in the debate on our twitter and here are some of the tweets Birmingham supporter’s shared with us:

@Talkboxing2: @VitalBirmingham players are good enough to boss 1st halves. Problem is gaffer cant adapt his tactics in the 2nd to stay in control

@carlb369: @VitalBirmingham he loses the dressing room at every half time team talk

@JGClay1: @VitalBirmingham he hasn’t had the dressing room for nye on 2 seasons. No more excuses. He’s gotta go!

@EustaceCarl: @PanosInAsia @VitalBirmingham @bcfctom1

@dowler99: @VitalBirmingham time for change now we can’t carry on like this

@Steve_bcfc: @VitalBirmingham Gutted with the Fulham result. Can’t believe how we can dominate 1st half then throw it away n the second. Time for change.

‏@keanespirit: @Steve_bcfc @VitalBirmingham the thing is I hated the way we played 1st half . Not going for the throat of a team devoid of confidence

With tensions rising, it would seem that this story seems to gain a little more momentum with each dropped point. Blues fans appear frustrated, the good signs of taking the lead are thrown away as the game seems to inevitably turn in the opponents favor.

Is Clark out of time? How does he now turn this tide of bad pressure away from the spot light? easy … hold onto, or even just go out and win a game.
