Birmingham manager Lee Clark was not overly happy about the 1-0 defeat at Watford on Tuesday night.

Blues went down to a first half Troy Deeney goal, making it three defeats in five games, and although Blues made a fight of it at the end, Watford took all the points.

Clark however, felt his side had deserved at the very least a point from the trip down south.

The Blues boss said to reporters: ‘We deserved something from the game without a shadow of a doubt. Our second-half performance was very, very good.

‘First half I had too many regrets. I know we hit the post a couple of times from long-range efforts but we didn’t put them under enough pressure.’

Clark has the chance to hopefully turn things around at the weekend when his side takes on his old club Huddersfield Town at St Andrews.
