Blues manager Lee Clark has warned his side that he will not tolerate the sort of performance they put in against Leeds on Sunday.

Clark does not want to see his side give up as easily as they did at Elland Road and he speaks ahead of this weekend’s game at Derby County at Pride Park.

Clark knows it is about time City turned in a good performance away from home after losing the last five trips out on the bounce and failing to even register goal in the last four.

Clark but Sunday’s defeat down to the woeful first half display that saw Leeds ease into a lead that they never looked like letting go.

The boss told the Birmingham Mail: “We have got to make sure at Derby that we are a hell of a lot better.

“I don`t do excuses, I do reality. I will never tell anyone what I tell players in the dressing room but we are all obviously disappointed because that wasn`t good enough. It was not acceptable to the badge on the front of the jersey.”

Blues have now slipped to 20th place in the league with just ten points to show from 12 games so far.
