Lee Clark has defined Birmingham’s problems as laying with the players. He is confident Blues can improve and stop the rot.

Lee Clark has blamed the player’s mentality for the reason why Birmingham’s results just keep going wrong. He said that they are not being told to do anything different at half time.

“Things are changing inside the players` heads.” Clark told BirminghamMail.com

Blues have been able to start games well this season. Often controlling large spells before crumbling either after half time or around the 60-70 minute period.

Clark has revealed that the players are not being told to do anything different at half time and the game plan has remained the same.

He says that something is not right within the players for such a sudden change of fortunes to occur in each game. The manager is also concerned about the mental strength of the team should they find themselves a goal down.

It is quite obvious that a manager would point to a problem such as mentality. It would be unlikely he would want to publicly admit that anything may be wrong with his game management.

Birmingham need to sort themselves out quickly as games come thick and fast in the Championship. A bad month can set you back half a season. Blues next travel away to Millwall.
