We understand that Lee Clark is in advanced talks with Blackpool and will take over at the Championship club.
Birmingham have appointed a new manager in just seven days after sacking Lee Clark. But it would seem the former manager has just as much bounce back ability as he may not be far behind us in finding a job.
Blackpool look set to offer him the manager’s job, hoping he will be able to save them from relegation like he did with Birmingham City late last season.
It is unclear when Blackpool intend to make an announcement but it would seem Lee Clark is very eager to get straight back into management.
Blackpool are the Championship’s bottom club, 5 points adrift of Birmingham and Bolton in 22nd and 23rd. Clark will have his work cut out for him with a small squad and plenty going on behind the scenes.
We with Lee all the best should he be announced as the man to take Blackpool forward, just so long as it doesn’t have an affect on Birmingham, of course.
