The November nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month Award are:

Rudy Gestede (Blackburn Rovers) – striker
Five goals in five games – three of them headers – for the Benin international. His link-up play and work-rate were impressive but it was his prowess in the air, especially his header against Brighton & Hove Albion, which made Gestede unplayable.

Andre Gray (Brentford) – striker
His period of adjustment from Conference football last season is over. Gray`s predatory instincts are now on full show in the Sky Bet Championship with five goals in as many games, notably his curving run and clinical finish in the 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Alex Mowatt (Leeds United) – midfielder
Three stunning goals, two assists and a driving force in the Leeds midfield, the elegant 19-year-old was central to the Elland Road revival. Judging by his two sweetly-struck efforts against Charlton Athletic, Mowatt doesn’t score ordinary goals.

Darren Randolph (Birmingham City) – goalkeeper
Three clean sheets in five games and just two goals conceded was a remarkable recovery from the 8-0 defeat by Bournemouth. Naturally calm, his shot-stopping against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Watford, Cardiff City and Nottingham Forest took the breath away.
