The award for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for October went to Oscar Garcia at Brighton.
Garcia fought off competition from Brian McDermott of Leeds, Bolton`s Dougie Freedman and Nigel Pearson of Leicester, to pick up the award.
Albion won three and drew one of their four games last month.
Our own Lee Clark steered Birmingham to two wins, a draw and one defeat in the same period.
