Birmingham City midfielder Koby Arthur is reportedly attracting interest from two championship sides, according to reports in his native country Ghana.

Former play off duo Brentford and Ipswich Town are set to be lining up a move for the out of contract 19 year old but the Blues are hopeful that Arthur will accept the new terms that they have offered the tricky play maker.

The teenager joined the Blues in 2012 from non-league side Woodford United but it is understood that the youngster wants to leave the West Midlands club to play more first team football and push for the chance on the international stage.

A versatile midfielder, who can play on both wings, as well as in the middle and up front, Arthur would be a great addition to both Brentford and Ipswich if they could prize him away from Gary Rowett`s side.

If a move did materialise for the teenager, a compensation fee would have to be paid because he is under the age of 24. If he did move on, his most likely to join Brentford as Ipswich Town are set to sign Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles on a season long loan and they are unlikely to want to sign a player of the same talent.

Birmingham City fans, what do you think of this news? Would you be sad to see Koby Arthur leave? Or do you think the club has better players than him? Let us know in the comment section down below!
