Can Blues reach success with blossoming young talents.

Blues start the new campaign with a number of talented young players. We know about Harding and Lakin and Lubala but haven’t seen the exciting much talked about Jude Bellingham. Add Seddon to that mix and Blues appear to have an array of really young talent.

The 2019/20 season could herald new horizons for Garry Monk and his backroom staff. Experienced campaigners like Morrison, Dean, Colin and Jutkiewicz can only help these players to bring out the best in them.

Without doubt, we are blessed in many departments apart from our midfield, which needs urgent addressing. No doubt GM is working on this tirelessly. Che Adams situation remains quiet and long may that last, with fans hoping for a new campaign with Vassell, Juke and Adams himself.

Speaking to Bluenoses far and wide the feeling is good with hope emerging for a new challenge without all the dreadful baggage that last season brought. Our strength is in the close-knit squad that Monk embraces plus the belief that we can actually secure a top-six position providing everybody stays in place-Adams in particular.

Rumours abound of course at this time of the close season, but staying quietly under the radar is in my opinion good. We have come through the traumas of last season not really getting the credit that was achieved on the field, but new horizons beckons and our emerging young players, under Garry Monk could just see a campaign of real achievement.
