Crystal Palace boss George Burley has reportedly turned down an offer from Birmingham City for right back Nathaniel Clyne.
Blues are supposed to have offered £1.25million for the 19-year-old, £750,000 of that being based on future appearances.
Burley was not impressed with that and told the South London Press: ‘The offer Birmingham have made is totally unrealistic for a youngster with great potential – thinking about the offer does not even come into the equation.
‘The last 19-year-old I sold was Gareth Bale [to Tottenham for £5million] -that shows how valuable good young players can be.’
