Will Packwood will stay with Bristol Rovers now until the middle of January after extending his loan spell.

The defender has impressed both staff and fans at the Memorial Stadium since he joined the club to up his first team experience after recovering from a broken leg.

The 20 year old has two MOTM awards under his belt that he has earned from games with the Pirates and boss John Ward was only too happy to extend his stay.

He told Rovers official website: ‘We’re delighted that Will is extending his spell with us, he’s a good player and he’s going to grow into a very good player.’
