Brilliant Brown Shines

Reece Brown has had a couple of chances in the first team in recent times, but should he get a more permanent place?

Davis, as many people have remarked, has been one of the better players in the midfield this season, and he should certainly be on the team sheet week in week out. But with Gleeson out, and Riley on loan, will a call up to the first team for Brown be far away?

Brown is one of those players who is in an awkward position. He stands out in the reserve league due to his brilliant finishing and lightening pace. But may not be ready for the first team due to lack of strength and overall experience.

Therefore, I think players like Brown should be loaned out to a league one side. He will gain match experience at a more competitive level, but not at a level high enough to tire him out or damage his confidence.

He is one of the best young players I have seen in the youth leagues for the past few years, and so we need to give him a chance in the first team, so he sticks with us. This is the problem with modern football.

Would you start him in the first team? Or loan him out?
