Another final day escape, or a devasting relegation, we are only two days away from finding out.
When someone says it’s only a game, tell that to the millions of supporters who feel the nerves when it comes to a crunch encounter like this one.
Birmingham fans on Twitter are certainly feeling it ahead of Sunday:
It’s football mate, of course it can happen

No need to be nervous, we’re not going anywhere. #kro

What I really hope joe, is that before the game they don’t play the stupid music & actually let us just sing KEEP RIGHT ON like they’ve never heard before. I’m confident we will do the business. Keep the faith 👊🏻💙

Verdict:
Some people actually enjoy the anticipation before such a crucial game, I’m certainly not one of them! Like many, I just want to get to kick off as soon as possible.
Of course, we are still outsiders to go down. We only need a point with Burton’s goal difference being so bad, but it doesn’t stop you thinking about all the things that could possibly go wrong.
I really wish the Blues would stop making things this difficult for themselves. I am just imagining the potential of us staying up with Garry Monk in charge for next season as a comforting thought.
