Former Birmingham City Managing Director Karen Brady has visited a business breakfast at Portsmouth Football Club and then judged an entrepreneur contest at a local school.
PFC held a breakfast business meeting to give presentations about what the directors were doing and some of the tasks they had faced to get the club to where it is now. Brady said the community aspect of the Pompey Trust was a really important factor for the club.
Brady, now West-Ham Vice Chairman, was taking part in the events as the Conservative Parties Small Business Ambassador. She praised the efforts to raise £5 million in order to help the club and then judged a business ideas competition at a local school upon an invite from the local MP.
Brady is a popular figurehead for business and media events, she is often asked to speak at a huge variety of events and her publicity continues to grow.
