When Birmingham City announced the signing of Lukas Jutkiewicz back in the summer of 2016, many fans were very under-enthused by his arrival considering he hadn’t scored a goal in two years.

In fact, his last goal in professional football came against Blues on the last day of the 2013/14 season when Blues stayed in the Championship thanks to Paul Caddis’ last minute header.

But, Blues fans owe a lot of credit to the former Burnley striker having now chipped in with 12 goals in all competitions this season.

Despite not scoring in seven games, Jutkiewicz has been a constant threat up front for Blues and with Clayton Donaldson being injured for the majority of the season, Blues have been very fortunate to have someone like the Juke in the team.

With that being said, seven of Jutkiewiczs’ goals have picked up 11
points for Blues this season. These can be seen below.

Sheffield Wednesday – 2-1 win.

Queens Park Rangers – 1-1 draw.

Huddersfield Town – 1-1 draw.

Barnsley – 2-2 draw.

Blackburn Rovers – 1-1 draw.

Fulham – 1-0 win.

Cardiff City – 1-1 draw.

Without the 11 points that Jutkiewicz has earned Blues, the club would be second bottom with 39 points and they would have been relegated this weekend along with Rotherham United and Wigan Athletic.
